THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

What have we been saying, lately? What’s been coming out of our mouths, publicly or privately? What are we speaking over our situations and circumstances? Well, the answers to these questions will be a great indicator of what’s going on in our lives.

Whether we have seen it, read it or heard it, words are always grabbing our attention! These words, once received, can affect how we think, how we feel and eventually, what we say. The information that we receive can cause our responses to be either good or bad.

Everyone, at one time or another, have had to face challenges. There are times that we’ve had to fight off the negativity, be it in our own minds or with others. In order for us to stay focused, it is vital that we are attentive, to the words that come out of our mouths. These words spoken can either help us or hurt us!

In Proverbs 18:21, it states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Words are forces that can create and change our environment. We may not always realize this, but once our words are released in the atmosphere, it can affect us directly or indirectly.

In Luke 6:35, it states, “…For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” To have God’s Word in our hearts, will not only change our mindset, but it will also help us, to SAY what God says, about the matter! Knowing that we can change the direction of our lives, by lining our words up with God’s, is absolutely wonderful!

God loves us so very much and He’s ready to move on our behalf, but we, too, have a part to play in this. In Romans 4:17, it states, “…Calling those things which be not as though they were. He’s waiting on us, to get in faith and be in agreement with His Word! God is waiting on us to SPEAK to our mountain and SPEAK His Word into existence.

So, Let today, be a day of new beginnings! Let’s make the necessary adjustments and fill our atmosphere with words of faith! God wants us to always be aware of “The Power of The Tongue!” For He knows that when we speak Words of Life, to our situations and circumstance, it will result in us being Victorious and Triumphant! Glory to be God!

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
